Why should I join?
Besides the fact that you’ll be giving your support to the greatest
supporters’ club ever, there are a number of benefits:
Ability to purchase seats in the supporters’ section – Only full
members of team-recognized supporters’ groups (of which we are
currently the only one) may purchase seats in The River End.
The ability to buy tickets to Sons of Ben tailgates - only members
and one guest per member may buy tailgate tickets
An SoB shirt, scarf or other item is sent with each membership.
We’re also working on a few other ideas, including member-exclusive
events with Union players and staff and discounts at local businesses.
Where does the money go?
Since we’re a registered 501(c)(3) with a fully volunteer staff you
can be assured that all the money collected goes to where it’s needed.
Some of it goes to cover the costs of your membership premiums, most
of it goes towards the things we need to be a successful supporters’
club – banners, flags, grills, coolers, tents, smoke bombs, road
trips, etc. We also make donations to local charities as part of our
mission.
What if I don’t want to/can’t pay right now?
You can still sign up to receive the Almanadck, our email newsletter,
but you will not be eligible for member benefits.
I’m getting two season tickets for myself and someone else. Do they
need to join too?
Only the season ticket account holder needs to be a member to get
tickets in the River End. However, you are responsible for making
sure everyone using your seats abides by the Sons of Ben Code of
Conduct. Remember also that each member can only bring one guest to
the Sons of Ben tailgates at PPL Park.
How long will my membership card and premium take to arrive?
All memberships are processed, printed, packed and shipped by
volunteers and may take 4-6 weeks to arrive, or occasionally longer if
there's a hiccup in the shirt-printing process. Your best bet is to
join before the season; we'll let you know what the cutoff is each
year so that you can get your gear before the first home game.
Did you get my membership? I haven't heard from you!
Because we're all volunteers, we don't have the resources to
individually email you when memberships are mailed out or when they're
delayed. When you ordered, you should have received a confirmation
email from TicketLeap, our ecommerce partner. If you didn't, please
email them directly at support@ticketleap.com and they will confirm
that your order went through. Or you can sign in at the TicketLeap
site using the email address and password you used to buy your
tickets; this should take you to a screen with a “My Tickets” link on
the left-hand side. If your membership purchase shows up there, it’s
also in our database.
How do I get my membership number? I need it to sign up for an event!
If you haven't received your membership card yet, please use the
confirmation code you received from TicketLeap to sign up for
tailgates and other events.
