The Union take on DC United on Wednesday April 6th at the Maryland Soccerplex in Germantown, MD. This is the ZOLOs first game in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup tournament and a big turnout is expected.

Members who signed up for the bus trip should have received emails confirming your seat on the trip. For members who will be making the trek to the new home of DC United feel free to use this information as needed but please keep in mind that seating is limited at the draft and most of the supporters sections have been reserved for those on the buses. You may have heard last evening that the Union have signed 39 year old Colombian goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon, formerly of German side FC Köln, on a free transfer. And if you hadn’t, well, now you have. I’ve heard unconfirmed reports that might be our first Designated Player (cue dramatic echo), which is a bit surprising, based on what we’ve heard previously from the FO about DPs.
