On Tuesday 2/22/11 against the Phoenix Coyotes the Sons of Ben will sit in the second level for an off-season get together. We’ll have an opportunity to sing, chant, hoist our scarves and even do a little pre-gaming.

I sat down last night and watched the SuperClásico match between LA/Chivas trying to gauge what is going to happen this Thursday night when our beloved Union face the LA Galaxy. The game was entertaining to say the least, especially when Alan Gordon was cleated in the chest and his shirt ripped open showing the wounds. It does not take much to get people to become fans of the Union, just a little passion, some knowledge of the game, and loud fans that know how to have a good time. When I have brought casual fans of soccer down to the games, many decided they wanted to get tickets for next year. Now I was on to my second step, turning the people who may have watched a World Cup game, some by accident, into the casual fan.
