Voting is now open for the Inaugural 2010 Sons of Ben Player of the Year award. The award, as voted on by the fans, will be presented to the winner (if available) at the 2010 Help Kick Hunger / Year End Party on Saturday, December 4th.

Here it is! We’ve been planning this for a little while now and FINALLY can make the big announcement:

After an amazing year of soccer we felt it would be appropriate to not only bring the membership together for one big final party but also to showcase the caring and generosity of those that have already invested so much into making 2010 such a great success!

Well, our season is over for now, and all that remains for supporters to do is pull fervently for whoever plays New York in the playoffs. But for the front office, there’s a lot of decisions that have to be made, and none are looming like the expansion draft. We’ve got two expansion teams coming into the league next
season, so that obviously increases our chances of losing a player or two. [..]
