The Sons of Ben raise a glass with Nick Sakiewicz at The Dark Horse in Philadelphia on February 26, 2008. Nick is CEO and Managing Partner of Keystone Sports and Entertainment, the owners group of MLS Philadelphia 2010 that hopes to bring the next MLS soccer expansion team to Philly.

Nick raises the SoB’s expectations with his announcement that “if you happen to come down to The Wharf building in Chester at 2 o’clock on Thursday, you wouldn’t be wasting your time”. Thursday February 28th – two days later -is the press conference at The Wharf on the Chester Waterfront where MLS Commissioner Don Garber announces that the Sons of Ben will get their team.
